Aechmea ‘Del Mar’

Bold, architectural, and practically dripping in tropical flair, the Aechmea ‘Del Mar’ is a bromeliad that means serious business. Its broad, silvery-green banded leaves form a dramatic rosette that cradles a stunning bloom spike of electric pink and violet that can last for months, making it one of the longest-performing flowering houseplants you can get your hands on. It’s an epiphyte at heart, so it’s remarkably low-fuss once settled. Just keep its central cup topped with water and give it bright indirect light, and it will reward you with one of the most spectacular floral displays in the plant world.
