Care

General Maintenance: Prune the plant as needed or to maintain desired size. Save any major pruning for late fall or early spring. To promote thick and full growth, pinch off the soft tips of young plant stems.

Temperature: This plant likes it hot. Keep outdoors in the summer for best growth and bring inside before the first frost. While indoors it should be kept in a warm and humid area (such as a kitchen or bathroom).

Light: Prefers full sun or bright direct light.

Watering: Until established, keep well watered and don’t let it dry out. Once it’s established, slow down and don’t water until the top inch of soil is dry.

Soil: Any well-draining soil mixture that retains moisture.

Fertilizer: Fertilize every two weeks during the growing season with a diluted fertilizer.
