For single packets, click here Shock Wave Deep Purple Spreading Petunia Seeds produce one of the earliest-blooming petunias in the entire Wave series, delivering masses of vivid, deep purple flowers long before other spreading types begin. These compact, mounded plants quickly fill in beds, containers, window boxes, and hanging baskets with a carpet of color that stays vibrant throughout the season. Known for their rapid recovery after rain, Shock Wave varieties bounce back faster than other petunias, maintaining a fresh, clean look even in unpredictable weather. The growth habit is similar to Easy Wave petunias, creating a controlled yet spreading mound that works beautifully in mixed plantings and landscape borders. Plants reach 710 inches tall with a spread of about 23 feet, making them ideal for creating rich groundcover effects or spilling over the edges of containers. Thriving in full sun to partial shade, Shock Wave Deep Purple delivers nonstop, eye-catching blooms from spring to frost on hardy, dependable plants. For gardeners looking for early color, reliable performance, and a spreading petunia with exceptional weather tolerance, Shock Wave Deep Purple stands out as a brilliant, garden-ready choice.
