Calla Lily, scientifically known as Zantedeschia aethiopica, is a stunning and elegant flowering plant, renowned for its sleek and sculptural blooms. This plant features large, trumpet-shaped flowers, which are actually a type of bract called a spathe, encircling a central, finger-like spadix. The most classic variety showcases pristine white spathes, but Calla Lilies come in a range of colours including pink, yellow, orange, and purple. The glossy, arrow-shaped leaves add to its sophisticated appearance. Calla Lilies are a popular choice for both gardens and as cut flowers in floral arrangements, bringing a touch of refined beauty wherever they are displayed.
