Cucumber Telegraph Improved is a popular variety of smooth thin skinned fruits and is a delicious sweet flavour, heavy cropper. Sow 12mm deep, direct in final position allowing 45cm between plants. When young plants have 5 or 6 leaves, pinch out growing tips to encourage growth of side shoots. Keep well watered and feed bi-weekly when the fruits start to swell. Seedlings emerge 6-10 days. Plant in spring and summer in well drained soil.
