The Geffner custard apple is a premium variety known for its exceptional flavour and creamy, smooth texture. Its green, heart-shaped fruit is covered in a slightly bumpy, scaly skin that protects the rich, sweet flesh inside. The flesh has a custard-like consistency, with a taste often compared to a blend of tropical fruits such as banana, pineapple, and mango. The Geffner variety is prized for its consistent quality and productivity, making it a popular choice for both home gardeners and commercial growers.
