Attributes Type: Tropical Height:5ft – 10ft Spread:2ft – 4ft Light: Bright Indirect Water: Moderate Zone:10 – 11 Pet Safe:Toxic Care General Maintenance:Monsteras like to be slightly rootbound, so they will not need to be repotted very often. They can grow freely or be trained to climb up a trellis or moss pole for a more clean/compact look. The older the plant is, the more fenestrated its leaves will be. They are very easy to propagate by rooting cuttings with nodes in water until the roots are 2-3 inches long, and then planting into soil. Temperature: Thrives in normal household temperatures, between 17C-26C. Keep away from drafts and drastic temperature changes. Light:Plenty of bright indirect light is ideal. Watering:Water once the top 2-3 inches of soil is dry. Monsteras hate to be overwatered, so ensure your pot has proper drainage to avoid the roots sitting in excess water. Soil:A well-draining potting mix is essential. Adding perlite or orchid mix to your soil is a great way to improve drainage. Fertilizer:Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer once every 3-4 weeks during the spring and summer months.
