Nepenthes mirabilis var. globosa, often known as the Viking form in Thailand, is a rare and stunning variety of the widespread Nepenthes mirabilis species. This selected clone (BE-3928), introduced by Borneo Exotics showcases the most colourful and dramatic traits of the variety. Its lower pitchers glow in shades of deep orange and yellow, while the intermediates and uppers shift into rich blends of red fading to yellow, overlaid with fine red veining. The pitchers are characteristically globoseround, eye-catching, and highly variable in colour, ranging from green and white to pink and red combinations. Whether you’re drawn to its unique growth habit, vibrant pitcher colours, or regional rarity, this variety is a must-have for any serious Nepenthes enthusiast.
