Panicum virgatum Warrior is a striking, upright, ornamental grass that brings movement and texture to the garden. Its slender, blue-green leaves form neat clumps that turn warm golden tones in autumn, while airy clouds of delicate purple-tinged flower panicles appear from late summer.

This hardy, low-maintenance grass is ideal for mixed borders, or adding vertical interest to contemporary gardens. Drought-tolerant once established and highly resilient, it provides year-round structure and soft movement in the breeze, while also attracting beneficial wildlife and adding elegance to naturalistic planting schemes.

Autumn flowering. Best in a sunny position in most well-drained garden soils. Height & spread: 1.2m x 1m (4′ x 3′).
