Peperomia Watermelon, aka Peperomia argyreia, is an herbaceous perennial native to South America. The rounded, fleshy leaves marked with silver and dark green stripes resemble the markings of a watermelon, hence its common name. It is one of the more popular Peperomia varieties and, like the others, it is non-toxic, making it safe to keep around your furry friends.
