Philotheca Winter Rouge, commonly known as Wax Flower or Eriostemon, is a charming, compact shrub prized for its beauty and fragrance. Its aromatic foliage releases a pleasant scent when touched, adding another sensory layer to the garden. From late winter through to spring, it produces an abundance of delicate, star-shaped flowers in soft pale pink, which gradually fade to a crisp white as they mature. These dainty blooms create a gentle, elegant display and are highly valued for their long-lasting quality, both on the plant and as cut flowers indoors. With its naturally dense and bushy habit, Winter Rouge is ideal for low hedging, borders, or feature planting. Light pruning after flowering helps maintain a neat, compact shape and encourages even more prolific blooming in the following season.
