A free-flowering antique pink from 1707, ‘Bat’s Double Red’ has handsome blue-gray foliage and layers of rouge-red ruffled petals aromatically scented of clove. These quaint blooms bring us back to gardens past when fragrance was treasured. ‘Bat’s Double Red’ mingles happily with lavender in early summer gardens.
