This, the iconic ‘moss’ most often seen dripping off trees in in Florida and Georgia, is actually an epiphytic air plant. Long chains of small, silvery individual tillys make lush bunches, perfect for growing as an exotic houseplant or for brightening up your seasonal patio. Bright, indirect light is best. Water every other week with 30 minute soak with an occasional misting in between. Not cold hardy, so best to bring inside before temps dip below 50 degrees.
