Sage – Herb Seeds

Sage (Salvia officinalis) is a perennial herb renowned for its aromatic leaves and culinary versatility. This ancient herb has been cherished since the Roman Empire, not only for its flavor but also for its medicinal properties. With its silvery-green foliage and purple flowers, sage adds beauty to any garden while providing a bounty of flavorful leaves for your kitchen.

What makes sage special is its rich history and diverse uses. Revered by various cultures, sage has been used in traditional medicine for centuries, believed to enhance memory and digestion. Its robust flavor profile makes it a staple in Mediterranean cuisine, perfect for seasoning meats, sauces, and stuffing.

One of the standout features of sage is its drought resistance, making it an eco-friendly choice for gardeners. This hardy herb thrives in poor soil conditions, reducing the need for chemical fertilizers and excessive watering, thus promoting sustainable gardening practices.
